What Qualifies as Made in CHQ?
A product, project, or creation may qualify as Made in CHQ if it meets one or more of the following:
- Created in Chautauqua County
- Made by a maker, artist, entrepreneur, or organization based in Chautauqua County
- Significantly transformed or produced within Chautauqua County
- Created through local skills, craftsmanship, creativity, or innovation
- Produced using locally sourced or reusable materials

Made In CHQ and UpcycleCHQ
The UpcycleCHQ Maker Pilot Program serves as one of the first initiatives helping explore and develop the Made in CHQ identity.
Through the pilot, local makers are creating products using reusable materials while exploring new opportunities for local production, practical skills, and micro-enterprise development.
The lessons, products, and stories emerging from the pilot will help shape the future of Made in CHQ.
